Facebook

I joined Facebook this past week, and I have to say that it is incredibly addicting.  It never really interested me until my old friend Matt Richter gave me a hard time about it.  After listening to all the people that he has reconnected with, I had to check it out.  What is nice about it, is no one can see your profile until you "approve" them as a friend.

The thing about it though, is that you are sometimes found by people you would rather not be found by.  For example, a shady ex-boyfriend that I would rather not ever think about found me and requested to be my friend.  I had no problem saying no to him, because quite frankly...I don't want him knowing what is going on my my life.  Truthfully, he is not my "friend."  I am sure that there are Facebook etiquette rules that I am breaking, but that is ok!

So Facebook is pretty addicting, but with the caveat that it opens the door to be found by ANYONE if they look hard enough!

Allison- very brave of you! I like the idea but I have "re-connecters" as it is tracking me down. Of course, some people you're happy to hear from, but let's face it, there is a reason why some are part of your past (PAST being the key word)!

Oh, and, what a small world! Danny is in law enforcement but doesn't work in Sparks or Reno. Good to know that your brother-in-law is keeping us safe from gang-bangers!

Shady ex-boyfriend found you fast! I am so glad that you said "No thank you!" to his friend request!
I'm glad that we are Facebook friends :)
