Like many homes across the country our home has been invaded by Toy Story. I don't mind this invasion though. It started with a Buzz and Woody themed birthday party E attended and has moved onto Buzz and Woody dolls here at home. Everett jabbers all day long, most of it you can't understand, but whatever he is saying-he is talking about Buuu and Woo-woo (Buzz and Woody).
We stopped by the Disney Store last weekend thinking we would invest in a pair of Buzz pajama's, but little did we know they make Buzz and Woody dolls age appropriate for toddlers. Everett was on them like white on rice. There was no possible way that we could leave that store without breaking his heart. Fortunately they were having a special on them, so it did not break the bank.
He walked around the rest of the day kissing the dolls, then making them kiss each other, and then making me kiss the dolls, etc. He LOVES Buuu and Woo-woo. He is so much fun at this age!!!
On a sad note, my sister and her husband put down their dog Morgan today whom they have had since they first got married over 10 years ago. Like most family pets, Morgan was a part of their family. Morgy was the dog that protected Jana and the kids the past 10 years while Jason worked the night shifts. She wasn't an over the top, in your face dog. She was the one who would quietly sit in the corner just wanting to be in the same room while keeping a watchful eye on the family dog. I cried with my sister on the phone, and when I got off I couldn't help but give my girls extra love and attention.
The picture below is of Heidi and E finding the hole in the middle of his table meant for an umbrella. E played with it for about 5 minutes figuring out what he could shove down into it. After he lost interest, Heidi stared at it for another 20 convinced that something was going to come out of it. She is such a funny dog! With what my sister is going through tonight, I am thankful that we have our girls and how much laughter they add to our little family.
