I only have a few minutes so hopefully the pictures will help me tell the story!

So many to choose from...
My happy boy refusing to sit still for the picture!
This is my version of a pumpkin patch-it is covered and paved!
E was not convinced that pumpkin carving was for him. He would not even put his hand inside to feel the gooey stuff-oh well!
Our end result-Rob's is on the left, my dad's in the middle, and my own on the right. (I have to say that Rob did awesome. He HATES pumpkin carving. Something about the texture and the smell makes him sick. However he is all about the tradition of it-so kudos to him.)
What it looks like at night...scary?
I am currently roasting our pumpkin seeds in the oven and can not wait to devour them! This is one of the Lacy family traditions that I will be passing on to our kids. I am not a fan of Halloween, but I do love the pumpkin carving!

NICE!
Great work on the pumpkins! I think it is really cool that your dad got into the carving with you all, and I think it is awesome that Rob participated too even though it isn't really his cup-of-tea!
Everett is getting so big! What a doll! I just love seeing pictures of you and him together- since I haven't seen you in person since you've become a mom, it just makes me so happy to see pictures of you with your little guy :)
Enjoy your pumpkin seeds! Yum!
So cute!
Everett is a ham-bone and I love the picture of you trying to get him to hold still...nice try mama! :o)
The bat pumpkin rocks!
I too am not a huge fan of Halloween, but am trying to do my part this year for the sake of the kiddies - pumpkins are pretty harmless and not too scary!
How do you roast your seeds? I need a good recipe!!
Oh so cute!!! Only in Texas and maybe California can a boy wear shorts to the pumpkin patch in October! Your boy is sooo cute and your pumpkins turned out great!
