Like many homes across the country our home has been invaded by Toy Story. I don't mind this invasion though. It started with a Buzz and Woody themed birthday party E attended and has moved onto Buzz and Woody dolls here at home. Everett jabbers all day long, most of it you can't understand, but whatever he is saying-he is talking about Buuu and Woo-woo (Buzz and Woody).
We stopped by the Disney Store last weekend thinking we would invest in a pair of Buzz pajama's, but little did we know they make Buzz and Woody dolls age appropriate for toddlers. Everett was on them like white on rice. There was no possible way that we could leave that store without breaking his heart. Fortunately they were having a special on them, so it did not break the bank.
He walked around the rest of the day kissing the dolls, then making them kiss each other, and then making me kiss the dolls, etc. He LOVES Buuu and Woo-woo. He is so much fun at this age!!!
On a sad note, my sister and her husband put down their dog Morgan today whom they have had since they first got married over 10 years ago. Like most family pets, Morgan was a part of their family. Morgy was the dog that protected Jana and the kids the past 10 years while Jason worked the night shifts. She wasn't an over the top, in your face dog. She was the one who would quietly sit in the corner just wanting to be in the same room while keeping a watchful eye on the family dog. I cried with my sister on the phone, and when I got off I couldn't help but give my girls extra love and attention.
The picture below is of Heidi and E finding the hole in the middle of his table meant for an umbrella. E played with it for about 5 minutes figuring out what he could shove down into it. After he lost interest, Heidi stared at it for another 20 convinced that something was going to come out of it. She is such a funny dog! With what my sister is going through tonight, I am thankful that we have our girls and how much laughter they add to our little family.

Buuu and Woo-Woo!
Everett is so stinkin' cute and I'm happy he was able to leave the Disney store with his two new buddies!! (few!)
Poor Jana.
Makes me want to cry too.
The funny irony to this is last night Marley was whining at me and I just finally gave him a hug - and he was so happy, so I posted "hug your dog" on Facebook and she replied to it almost immediatly...and now I totally get it. Poor Jana...
Oh he really is sooooooo CUTE!!!! I remember how much Tanner was in to toy story!!! I should see if it would be a hit with Maysyn. Gosh, if you could bottle up E's eyes and sell em' you would be a rich woman!!!!
Sorry for your family doggie loss....so sad :(
It makes me so happy to see Everett lovin' on Buzz and Woody! So cute and so sweet! As you know, Max loves "Bus" and "Wo-ey" too, so we watch plenty of Toy Story and play with the characters... I love knowing that you are doing the same with your little guy :)
I'm so sorry to hear about Morgan. Even though I've never had a dog, I can imagine how they truly become part of the family.
There is just something about little boys and their bond with Buzz:)
I'm so sorry to hear about the beloved dog!!
On a side note, I am more than willing to ship my little dog to her at any time. Just let me know and I'll pack his stuff! Did I mention that he may pee on EVRYTHING and tends to bite, but other than that he's perfect;)
I love the pic of E and his new buddies!! Adorable!! and So sorry about Morgan! :( I've never had a dog either but Aaron has 2 and they have such personality that they really do become part of the family!! When we get married Aaron and I plan on getting a puppy and I cant wait!!
